Our Impact

Recycled Tunes by the Numbers

Since 2020, Recycled Tunes has experienced incredible growth, thanks to the unwavering support of our community, partners, and donors. We've served 112 schools—most of them Title I—providing vital resources where they’re needed most. Over the past few years, we’ve donated or repaired more than 2,600 instruments, directly impacting over 40,000 students by putting real instruments in their hands. With a total instrument value exceeding $201,000 and over 2,000 instruments generously donated by individuals across Tampa Bay, these milestones reflect more than just numbers—they represent new beginnings, proud teachers, and the sound of possibility in every note.

Testimonials

Tad Denham of Recycled Tunes dropping off a repaired used drum kit to students of Ben Hill Middle School in Tampa Bay

“Recycled Tunes has drastically changed the Ben Hill band Program and the lives of our students. We have a Jazz Band at Ben Hill now, solely due to their contributions to our students. Jazz Band is rooted in its rhythm sections. RT has donated a drum set, bass guitar, keyboard, electric guitar, and all necessary amps to match. These students have gained an inspirational passion for music this year and have become model ambassadors for our campus in the community. These 19 kids have had their lives changed forever.”
